Village artists' big show

ARTISTS are applying the finishing touches to their work ahead a village's popular art show to be held this month.

Ashford Art Group will welcome visitors from 2pm to 5.30pm on Saturday May 29, at the Old School in Buxton Road, Ashford in the Water.

The exhibition will then be open from Sunday May 30 to Sunday June 6, from 10am to 5.30pm.

Over 100 pastel, watercolour, acrylic and oil paintings will be available, plus prints and cards. Woodturning will also be featured.
